Areas of Expertise

Couples Therapy (Gottman Method):

Couples therapy using the Gottman Method focuses on helping partners improve communication, resolve conflicts, and strengthen emotional connection. This research-based approach provides practical tools to navigate recurring challenges, rebuild trust, and create a shared vision for the future. Whether you’re working through a crisis or looking to reconnect, couples therapy can help you foster a stronger, healthier, and more fulfilling relationship.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT):

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy is an evidence-based approach that helps individuals understand and change unhelpful patterns of thought and behavior. By developing practical tools to address challenges, CBT empowers you to manage stress, improve emotional well-being, and take positive action. Whether you’re dealing with anxiety, low mood, or personal challenges, CBT offers a clear path toward greater clarity, resilience, and lasting change.

Burnout:

Burnout often results from prolonged stress, leaving you feeling drained, unmotivated, and disconnected. Whether it’s work, personal responsibilities, or the weight of daily life, therapy can help you regain balance. Together, we’ll explore ways to prioritize your well-being, rebuild your energy, and set healthy boundaries so you can move forward with renewed focus and purpose.

Anxiety:

Anxiety can feel overwhelming, manifesting as constant worry, restlessness, or an inability to relax. Therapy provides a safe space to identify the root causes of anxiety and learn tools to manage it effectively. By working together, we will develop strategies to reduce overthinking, calm your mind, and help you regain control, allowing you to face life with greater confidence and ease.

High Potential and ADHD:

High potential and ADHD can bring both exceptional strengths and unique challenges, such as struggles with focus, organization, or managing overwhelm. Therapy offers tools to harness your abilities while addressing areas where you may feel stuck. By developing practical strategies, improving time management, and enhancing self-understanding, you can unlock your full potential and create a life that feels more balanced and fulfilling.

About Me:

I hold a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology and am a licensed Cognitive Behavioral Psychotherapist (CBT) with more than thirteen years of experience in coaching, providing support, and conducting couples therapy. Additionally, I am a member of the Belgian Federation and Commission of Psychologists. Proficient in French, German, and English, I assist clients and couples from a variety of cultural backgrounds.

Originally from Austria and having resided in various countries, I have now established my home in Belgium. At the age of 34, I pursued my studies in Psychology, transitioning from a career in tourism and hotel management, as well as entrepreneurship. This journey ultimately guided me back to my core values and allowed me to embrace my true calling as a psychologist.

My academic journey includes five years of university education followed by three years of specialized training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). Additionally, I have pursued various complementary trainings in areas such as couple therapy, therapeutic hypnosis, non-verbal behavior, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT), and life coaching. This extensive background fuels my passion for psychology.

For several years, I have been providing training in couple therapy for aspiring CBT therapists at the Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB). Currently, I am also exploring the connection between the mind and body, which has led me to pursue a course in nutritional therapy. This training enhances my understanding of how nutrition influences our neurotransmitters and, consequently, our emotions. With a strong commitment to ongoing education and personal growth, I am eager to share my expertise and experiences globally through online sessions.
